- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned quarterly and annual territory targets for my client’s single cell proteomic capital equipment and reagents and consumables
- Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial customer engagement to closed sales, including managing pilot projects where applicable
- Prospect for new clients through various methods, including direct outreach, networking, and collaborating with internal sales, marketing & technical teams
- Qualify leads against established criteria and engagement levels to ensure accurate forecasting
- Deliver impactful presentations to key decision-makers
- Develop and maintain territory and key account plans, outlining strategies for continually achieving sales objectives
The requirements of the Senior Business Development Manager – Single Cell Proteomic Instruments:
- Minimum of 5 years technical or scientific capital equipment sales experience, ideally within the Biopharma, Bioprocess, CRO/CDMO space
- Proven track record of success in achieving & exceeding sales targets, growing key accounts, and networking at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences subject such as Biology/Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology or a related field
- Strong technical background in Single Cell Proteomics, Cell Line Development (a plus) or related fields, able to demonstrate knowledge of current trends and advancements
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with audiences of varying technical backgrounds
- Full German/EU driving licence and valid German/EU passport
- Full right to work in Germany is required as Visa sponsorship is not provided
