Site based in the Paris region with circa 10% travel
The role of Director of Pharmaceutical Activities (ATMP):
- The Qualified Person Delegate is delegated the responsibilities and mission of the Qualified Person & Quality & Pharmaceutical Operations Director for our client’s new site in the Paris region of France
- The Qualified Person Delegate (QPD) is responsible, by delegation from the Qualified Person for ensuring that each individual batch has been manufactured and controlled in compliance with the laws in force in the member state where certification takes place (in France), in accordance with the requirements of the marketing authorization (AMM) or investigational medicinal product dossier, and with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Organise and supervise all pharmaceutical operations at the site, in particular manufacturing, batch tracking and withdrawal, distribution, import and export of the drugs, products, objects or articles concerned, as well as the corresponding storage operations
- Ensure that transport conditions guarantee the proper conservation, integrity and safety of these medicines, products, objects or articles
- Implement, maintains and improves the quality system in accordance with the regulations and standards applicable to the company
- Quality Assurance in relation to the company's pharmaceutical activities
- Pharmaceutical batch certification and all related activities
- Import of pharmaceutical products and all related activities
- Carry out pharmaceutical operations in compliance with current regulations
- Maintain the qualified condition of premises, equipment, suppliers and personnel Involved in pharmaceutical activities
- Quality control of pharmaceutical products
- Regulatory affairs related to its activity
The requirements of the Director of Pharmaceutical Activities (ATMP):
- Circa 2+ years of experience as a QA Director, Qualified Person, Quality Director, Pharmacist or equivalent in the ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products) field
- You must also have eligibility status for registration in Section B of the French Pharmacists' Association (ordre des pharmaciens)
- Practical experience involving qualitative analysis of drugs, quantitative analysis of active ingredients, and the testing and verification required to ensure drug quality
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards (GMP, DMCT, BPD, etc.)
- Full right to work in France with the ability to travel internationally without any travel restrictions
