Location: Remote role based in either Hungary, Poland or Czech Republic covering the EMEA region with a strong preference for candidates located in Hungary who speak business-fluent English & German as Germany/DACH region is a key focus in this role
The role of EMEA Regional Finance Manager – Facilities Management:
- As the EMEA Regional Finance Manager – Facilities Management, you will manage the team responsible for producing limited output associated with Finance Strategy and Operations, including but not limited to the annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting.
- This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. You will be responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed
- Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting.
- Review balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows and supporting schedules, and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
- Review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
- Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning unit.
- Coordinate research, development, and preparation of accounting policy and procedures.
- Exchange and explain difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues
- Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
The requirements for the EMEA Regional Finance Manager – Facilities Management:
- Circa 3-5+ years of experience as an EMEA Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager or equivalent with proven P&L and Balance Sheet management experience/responsibility across circa 18 countries in EMEA with multiple ERPs (SAP/Iscala and Peoplesoft etc) with baseline revenue of 45m USD
- Proven financial leadership experience in the Facilities Management sector
- Proven experience of month end management reporting for multiple European countries
- Strong preference will be given to qualified candidates based in Hungary who speak business-fluent English & German as Germany/DACH region is a key focus in this role.
- Hold a Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent)
- Worked in a complex multinational with hands-on experience of managing geographically diverse teams
- Proven commercial acumen and ability to contribute to decision-making.
- Management skills to maximise the performance of staff working directly for them and others
- Previous experience of a service industry role using operating systems such as Dynamics AX
- Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on, pragmatic delivery.
- IT Skills to lead, process and reporting developments to achieve key tasks, and to give the business a sound reporting base
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills
- Capable of working in a matrix environment
- Dealt with GMP, Cost plus and fixed price commercial models
- Involved in acquisitions, including the integration of new businesses
- Ability to travel in the EMEA region when required with no travel restrictions
