- Identify Sales Opportunities: Assist the team in identifying new sales leads and potential clients through research and direct outreach.
- Client Engagement:Actively respond to inquiries via email, telephone, and social media, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to customers.
- Client Meetings:Schedule and attend client meetings, presenting product offerings, answering questions, and providing tailored recommendations to meet customer needs.
- Customer Database Management:Maintain and update customer databases with accurate contact details, sales activity, and follow-up notes.
- Collaborate on Sales Proposals:Work with the sales team to create purchasing quotes and tailored sales proposals for customers.
- Administrative Support:Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including preparing sales invoices, valuations, and updating the stock database.
- Order Processing:Assist in processing customer orders and ensure timely delivery, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Product Knowledge:Stay current on product features, industry trends, and competitor activities, continually enhancing your knowledge of luxury watches to better assist clients
Key Requirements of the Sales Assistant – Luxury Watch Retail:
- Experience:Previous sales or customer service experience in a B2C environment such as Telesales, Retail Sales, Car Sales or similar commercial role
- Luxury Watch Market Knowledge (Preferred):Experience with or if not an interest or passion for the luxury watch market
- Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Microsoft Office Proficiency:Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for daily tasks and reporting
- Motivated & Eager to Learn:Highly motivated with a strong desire to develop a career in sales and luxury retail
- Team Player:Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- Organisational Skills:Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Positive Attitude:A passion for sales and a positive, proactive attitude toward work
