Our client is looking to recruit reliable, committed, hands-on Remedial Technicians to join their growing Water Monitoring Team.
In this role, you’ll be out in the field, playing a vital part in protecting public health and safety. You’ll carry out a variety of water hygiene and remedial plumbing tasks—supporting their clients in staying compliant with key safety regulations. From tank cleans and TMV servicing to basic plumbing and water system disinfections, you’ll be ensuring environments are safe and up to standard.
These roles are full-time, permanent positions based from home with travel across your local region. As a Remedial Plumbing Technician, you’ll report directly to the Remedial Team Leader and work closely with the wider technical and compliance teams. This role is perfect for someone who’s practical, methodical and takes pride in a job well done—whether you’re servicing valves, replacing pipework or delivering site reports.

What we’re looking for?
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Proactive & Responsible – Keeps water systems safe, following Legionella control standards and ACoP L8 regulations, and fixes problems quickly.
- Flexible & Site-savvy – Comfortable working across different sites (commercial, residential, industrial), always following health and safety practices.
- Skilled & Practical – Uses tools and equipment well, making sure work is done safely and correctly.
- Clear Communicator – Explains technical issues clearly to clients and teammates and works well with others.
- Organised & Problem-solver – Manages time effectively, meets deadlines, and handles problems as they arise.
- Always Learning – Keeps up with the latest training and qualifications to stay on top of the job.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and remedial work to get water systems back on track and compliant.
- Install, repair, and replace pipework, tanks, valves, and fittings to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Conduct temperature checks, water sampling, and system flushing to maintain water safety standards.
- Clean and descale showerheads, outlets, and other water fixtures to ensure they stay in top condition.
- Assist in identifying and managing risks and implement control measures to keep water systems safe.
-  Make sure all work follows HSE’s ACoP L8 guidelines for water safety.
- Keep records of completed tasks and any further action needed.
- Communicate with clients, site managers, and compliance officers to keep everything running smoothly.
- Stick to health & safety guidelines, including using PPE and safe working practices.
- Be prepared to visit various locations as required.

- Internal opening inspections
- Biocide dosing and servicing
