The role of a Consultant Ophthalmologist

You will deliver a range of ophthalmic services and procedures within a highly rated secondary care setting. Working in partnership with the NHS, you will provide planned, elective care in a calm, well-resourced environment focused on excellent patient outcomes. Our client’s hospitals consistently achieve high CQC ratings, reflecting the clinical excellence, innovation, and dedication of their teams nationwide. What We’re Looking For You will have:

  • GMC specialist registration in Ophthalmology
  • Proven Consultant-level experience within the UK
  • High-level operative expertise in: High-volume phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia, Oculoplastics, Glaucoma, Wet AMD
  • A strong commitment to continuing medical education and professional developmentApplicants must have the right to work in the UK.
