Are you a qualified Installation Electrician or Electrical Engineer with a valid Gold Card and 18th Edition?
Do you have experience installing, testing and maintaining emergency lighting, fire alarms, access control systems, Solar panels, EV charging points, or similar electrical systems?
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Technician to join our established team with our clients long established business undertaking electrical installation, testing and maintenance on retail parks and commercial sites. This is a permanent PAYE position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), primarily across the Southeast.
If you are an Electrician based in Kent, Essex, Herts, Beds, Bucks, Milton Keynes, willing to travel across the southeast, then we’d be keen to hear from you.
While the role is mainly Monday to Friday work, there will be overnight stays to complete electrical works. Plenty of notice will always be given, and there is a stay-away bonus, plus hotel accommodation, plus a food allowance will be provided.

The Role
As an Installation Electrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations across commercial and industrial sites. You will represent the company on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical installation works within commercial and industrial properties.
- Installing systems such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, access control, and EV charging equipment
- Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site
- Accurately updating electronic job sheets and documentation
- Travelling to sites across the Southeast and West Midlands (with accommodation provided for extended travel)
- Ensuring full compliance with electrical regulations and codes
- Following all health and safety procedures and reporting any potential risks
- Maintaining the highest safety standards at all times
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays monthly is required.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition qualification
- Test & Inspection (2391) or (6791)
- A full, clean UK driving licence (preferred)
- IPAF (desirable)
- Strong customer service skills
- Solid experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
