- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing national sales team.

- Identify opportunities across laboratory operations, asset management, facility buildouts, optimisation programmes and scientific services outsourcing.
- Manage the full sales process, including qualification, discovery, solution development, proposals, pricing, presentations and contract negotiation.
- Develop and execute pursuit strategies that deliver sustainable revenue growth.
- Partner with clients to understand their business goals, operational challenges and strategic priorities.
- Provide direction for proposals, presentations and other executive-level materials.
- Establish and measure financial, operational and sales objectives for client accounts.
- Oversee account profitability, budgets, forecasts, monthly business reviews and sales performance.
- Review commercial models and financial reports, producing recommendations that support investment and growth decisions.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt commercial strategies in response to changing market conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors and clients to resolve complex operational and commercial challenges.
About you
- Significant experience selling Laboratory services or Laboratory Asset solutions to laboratory stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and laboratory asset management within life sciences organisations.
- Proven success in senior business development, strategic sales or commercial leadership.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing sales professionals against ambitious targets.
- A well-established professional network within the laboratory services or life sciences FM market.
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leaders and simplify complex technical subjects.
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, relationship-management and negotiation skills.
- Confidence interpreting contracts, requests for proposals and complex business documents.
- Advanced commercial and financial acumen, including experience reviewing pricing models, forecasts and account profitability.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and solve complex, multidimensional business problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and related applications.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, together with 5+ years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
