The role of a Batch Release Pharmacist Manager

Reporting to the Responsible Pharmacist, you will oversee batch certification and release activities in line with GMP and regulatory requirements. You will play a central role in maintaining product quality, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and certify batch documentation in compliance with GMP and regulatory dossiers
  • Perform batch release activities under delegation
  • Ensure product compliance prior to market distribution
  • Manage deviations, non-conformities, complaints, and CAPA processes
  • Support and participate in internal and external audits
  • Maintain and update quality documentation
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities when required
  • Support training and quality awareness initiatives across teams
About You
  • Doctor of Pharmacy, eligible for registration (Section B)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in batch release or ATMP pharmaceutical environments
  • 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory frameworks
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and technical writing skills
