We are looking for a motivated and analytical Finance Analyst to join our Global Finance team in Berlin. In this role, you will act as a proactive business partner, delivering insights and recommendations based on robust financial analysis and strong process controls. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations while supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.
As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will contribute to cross-functional reporting, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and govern SAP controlling master data (profit centres, cost centres, internal orders, hierarchies), including validation and data cleansing activities
- Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliation, issue resolution, and collaboration with EMEA Finance teams
- Process monthly recharges using Blackline
- Act as Finance Business Partner for the BU IT team in EMEA, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Lead G&A controlling activities, including actuals tracking and coordination of the planning process (“Black Book”) with business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, GAAP, and internal accounting policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting systems
Your Profile
Education & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO, Excel, and financial data tools
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SAP Controlling (FICO), including financial structures such as cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and accounts
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Affinity for IT systems and financial data analysis
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Power BI
Desired Skills
- Experience in data management across multiple platforms
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
Soft Skills
- Ability to work independently and within a matrix organization
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Cultural awareness and ability to collaborate in diverse teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and German (additional languages are a plus)
Travel Requirements
- Less than 10% travel, primarily for project work and team meetings
