As Finance Director, you will:
- Lead the company's overall financial strategy and long-term planning
- Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Provide accurate and commercially focused management information to the Board
- Lead month-end, year-end and statutory reporting processes
- Develop financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to drive sustainable growth
- Lead cash flow management, working capital and investment planning
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions and business transformation
- Develop and mentor the wider finance team
- Provide financial insight and challenge at Board and senior leadership level
- Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant financial and regulatory requirements
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Director, Financial Controller or senior finance professional who is ready to make a genuine impact.
You will ideally have:
- A recognised accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Significant senior-level finance experience within a commercial environment
- Strong experience across financial planning, reporting and forecasting
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions
- A strong understanding of financial controls, governance and risk
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- The confidence to present financial information to Board-level stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial decisions
