They are growing at a rapid rate, and they have just won a major Legionella Contract in the Buckinghamshire area, so it is the perfect time for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join the team in Buckinghamshire to work on this specific account in this brand new position.

Reporting to the Account Manager, the Legionella Risk Assessor’s role is to carry out technical surveys and compile reports on this designated contract in the Buckinghamshire area. The role will be to carry out legionella risk assessments and compile reports and make recommendations as to how to mitigate risk of legionella for this key client.

Full time, Permanent

40 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities

 

  • To generate reports and site information
  • Assist Account Manager/Supervisor with On Site Supervision of all the following:
  • Local authority buildings, housing, schools & leisure centres
  • Sampling, monitoring and various other water treatment tasks
  • Auditing site records, logbook and monitoring regimes
  • Producing schematics of hot and cold-water systems
  • Maintain a close customer relationship on all designated contracts
  • Understanding of water treatment processes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards, along with the ability to generate accurate reports and audit site records to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in generating reports, producing water system schematics, conducting sampling and monitoring tasks, and effectively communicating both technical information and customer updates to maintain strong, productive relationships.
The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in water systems or operations, adapting to different environments and tasks while supporting on-site supervision and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction  

The Requirements of the Candidate:-

  • Understanding of water treatment processes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards, along with the ability to generate accurate legionella risk reports and audit site records to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in generating reports, producing water system schematics, conducting water sampling and monitoring tasks, and effectively communicating both technical information and customer updates to maintain strong, productive relationships.
  • City & Guilds certified, Highfield or equivalent
  • Previous relevant Legionella Risk Assessment experience (at least 1 year)
  • Conversant with ACoP L8 and other relevant guidelines including HSG274
  • The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in water systems or operations, adapting to different environments and tasks while supporting on-site supervision and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lives in the Buckinghamshire area and willing to travel to client site to undertake the Legionella Risk Assessment
  • Full clean UK driving licence & Right to Work in UK without restriction
